Picked up a nice ladies tourer last week - 531 step-through.
It's badged as Everett - can't find anything out about them. Anyone any clues?
It has a fairly short frame no. under the bottom bracket - running across in same direction as the spindle.
It has Wolber super champion 27 x 1 1/4 with mint Conti top tourer tyres and a shimano golden arrow front mech - which jumps me to conclude it's early 80s - but the reynolds sticker is pre- TI, so could be earlier.
I only wish it was a bloke's frame...
Anyroad, I could do with some background...
Frame builder based in Kendal - related to Bruce's Bikes, for future reference...

Good price! I use an independant mechanic to look after mine, he's arguably the most knowledgable person in the UK when it comes to Volvo cars- only bugger is that he's based in the Midlands.
Ta. New to this looking-after-cars shit, but it's all stamped up to date mainly from independent volvo places - the last owner (rare parot breeder, i shit you not) got it done at a place in Lytham that seems to be well regarded.
the guy I got it from is a racing mechanic, so i'm wondering if he might tend to the servicing. It's an auto, but hoping for trouble free while.
Don't know much about them, but did a bit of research and sounded him out. price seemed good - knocked it down to £1800 over the phone, then negotiated a bit less with 12 months MOT, service, and 3 month guar. Hope I've done the right thing - need something big enough to fit a sideboard in.
Figured I could suck it and see for 6 months and sell it for similar price if it's not serving a purpose...

Anyone have one in good order that they'd like to part with?
