I did not fit this adapter myself, came with the wheel. It is a screw on adapter that only works with older style rear hubs that have freewheel threading instead of a cassette body.
What are saddle bags doing in this thread?

Not only if that. I've used this particular BBB extender to extend ahead Forks even.
Epoxy won't add a lot in the way of structural rigidity 8)
Not a set up I'd personally run... too scared stress will cause sheering on the threaded area.
I'd rather cut the threaded section off and put a steerer extender in (BBB BHP-20)
