Got some Chinese clincher wheels for my Cinelli Superstar. Custom order 60mm rims on R36 hubs (18/21) with internal nipples.

Got them out for a ride today and they felt solid. Braking was more than reasonable with cork brake pads and grooved brake track (better performance than the R5800 pads I run on my other Cinelli)

Can never say no to silly wheels :)

Ahead conversion done and 15 cm old stock 3T stem fitted.

    Benotto 1993 time capsule.

Adjusted a little bit from how I bought it. The Alivio groupset will be replaced with something more modern soonish.

Functional doesn't default it to having a place in this particular thread.

    Just the Pressure

Didn't find the other frames with different brands.

It's not that. Sourcing an open mould frame is something different than having frames produced to your spec/design outside of the brand's country of origin.

Basso is an Italian brand producing carbon frames in Italy indeed.

The Superstar and Zydeco are probably exclusive (not open mould) to Cinelli, which at least gives me the idea they had some design input in them.

For Cinelli to use an open mould frame for their top offering, with other brands and China selling the same thing, well, that's just disappointing. The Pressure doesn't even use a Cinelli handlebar system (>FSA). It's a long way from what they did with the the Laser series, Starship frame and Alter range :/. Guess it's become too expensive, and irrelevant to marketing, to develop the tech themselves.

Just reading hunches online about it but no links or comparisons.

Well, this Pressure model definitely is. What are the other ones?
