They took some appointments out at Margaret Street to just do long sessions for plasma for covid antibodies; I got a normal whole blood one on a Sunday pretty quick. It was upstairs tho, so only about 4 chairs, but in and out in under 30 mins.
We get manure free on the plot (lots of local stables), so usually add to a depth of four to six inches over the ground in oct/november and then dig in after the drying march winds. Usually do half the plot; green manure planted on the rest - it’s a better soil conditioner. Some crops don’t like going in on horse manure so worth thinking about your rotation.
We sadly no longer have cats... but get to enjoy visits from several of the neighbours...
I also have the z jersey, it gets an annual day out about now :)
Good luck with the sweetcorn! I just put some seeds straight outside in trays About two weeks ago and they’ve been coming up fine. My worst crop ever was a ground sowing that got devastated by slugs etc so good to get them a decent size first... you may need to watch for foxes when the corns get a decent size.
No bike to match, Sadly, but found this in a backstreet vintage shop in Florence. Assume it’s a trade team? Large enough for me to wear it!
Cut it back, you’ll maybe still get some this year. Autumn, cut back anything not died back to tidy, mulch over and they’ll emerge next spring
No harm doing it and you’ll not worry! Diy Cold frame would be good for next time.
