I’ve always been puzzled by the criticism SRAM gets, as a user of both major brands.

SRAM shifting issues seem to equal major design flaws of a bad system, Shimano shifting issues seem to be put down to no system being perfect.

Any time someone I ride with drops a chain on Shimano little or nothing gets said, but if you’re on SRAM it’s all “fucking shite mate, never works”, and they both happen with equal (rare) frequency in my experience.

Interesting. From bunga-bunga parties to meetings about coffee supply chains, I bet he's bored stiff

At least he's broken with his tradition of taking money off cunts with horrendous human rights abuse records. A bit of good old fashion catholic death bed repentance before he retires maybe

Yeah I have and was underwhelmed by what I ordered. It was a while ago when they first opened though so I should give them another go as they're about a 2 minute walk from where I work

It's kind of why I built a wood oven in my garden actually, amongst other things. There not much properly amazing pizza to be had in Bristol and the better places are £14 for a circle with stuff on (Flour & Ash being the notable exception - amazing pizza and great value, don't get me started on Pizza Rova, shite at the best of times...). I can feed a garden full of people until they can eat no more for about £25 and have a great time doing it. It's such a social food to eat but getting a £300 bill for a few pizzas when you go out as a big group seems at odds with the simplicity of the food. And there's fuck all washing up...

My wife was crying, which is extraordinary considering she came in at 5km to go having never heard of him in her life

I’ll be selling a 2014 hi-mod 56 frame in the coming weeks of your looking at second hand.

It’ll be fine on sportives, not sure about crits though. Something stiff and racey would be better.

I’ve always run 26c on my older frame with no rub at all. I’ve never used mudguards on it though. 26 might be ok with guards, 25s definitely would be. 28s would probably rub the stays. The newer frames easily accommodate 28/30s so 28s with mudguard should be fine.
