I bought this frame a while back in Germany and have been planning to clean it up and get it on the road as a Weekend ride. Unfortunately cash is king right now and on my current work schedule/routine I won't be able to start any new projects for at least a year, thus it is for sale!
There's not a lot I can tell you about the maker, all I have to go by is the Le Taureau decal which would suggest it is a Belgian build originally. It sports Nervex pro lugs which is one of the features that attracted me to the bike, the Chrome is also in fairly good condition for a bike of this age, having a couple of superficial rust marks which I've demonstrated in the photos. The frame itself seems to be made of good steel, again I'm unable to identify the steel from any decals but upon weighing the frame and forks weigh in at 3kg, 800g of which are the forks. The frame has some superficial rust marks which I've done my best to show in the photos.
Only the forks are drilled for brakes, the rear is untouched. Rear track dropouts are Campag Brev, dropouts on fork are unmarked from what I can see. All shown in photos.
I bought this frame with a Bottom bracket (Gipiemme) and Headset (Tange njs vintage). I've since lent the BB to a friend, it's come back with the cups in a bad way, meaning I can't supply the complete BB with the frame any longer. I'd happily include the headset for an extra £20.
Asking price: £150 (£170 w/headset)
Any further questions, don't hesitate to ask.
