any frame number on the bottom bracket?
what is the seatpost diameter?
lugs and headbadge don't point to a raleigh (i think)
also the geometry and lugs look older than 70's to me.
did the forks come with the frame originally???- No visible frame number - the rattlecan job is pretty thick so it may well be under there somewhere. Might rub the BB base down and have a look if no luck otherwise, but I thought I'd post it up first and see if anyone knew it from the lugs.
- Will have a measure in the morning, thanks
- I'm inclined to agree on the headbadge, no idea about the lugs
- Ace, old school = cool
- No idea whatsoever, seller bought it about a year or so ago from a guy that homebuilt it. Didn't mention/know whether it was from frame or f&f though. Will get a shot of the fork crown tomorrow and see if that helps.
Thanks!

Picked this up a couple of weeks ago as a bit of a winter hack, not really sure what it is though, seller seemed to think it could be a '70s Raleigh.
Feels pretty light (really light compared to my chunky '61 Raleigh tourer), but I'm not sure how much of that is the modern 700cs vs the steel 27's on my other one.

Ignore the saddle height in the later pics, my mate borrowed it today and he's a bit short for the frame.
Any help would be gratefully received <3
edit: forgot to take a pic of the forks, can do that tomorrow if it'll help...
