Just a bit of advice from experience guys: The CCTV on my street actually saw the guys who took my bike. The CCTV clearly saw the two guys take it, I spoke to the CCTV operator myself who confirmed as much but the camera being panned out it couldnt make a clear ID of the culprit's faces. Hence, unless the CCTV local to your bike being stolen has an operator on hand, notices your bike being stolen, zooms in on his face (assuming he's NOT to be wearing a hat or hoodie) it's going to help you get your bike back sweet FA as it did me.

Best way to remember is you turn the thread the opposite way of the crank turns (left turns ACW so turn it CW, right turns CW so turn it ACW) When you are facing the crank from the pedal side.

New Covent Garden veg, fruit & flower market in Vauxhall has stolen bikes??

As the police would say, I cant prove they were stolen but there were at least 2 stalls with questionable looking merchandise. They had at least 3-4 disc braked mtbs in the back and couple mid range commuter bikes. All bike thief candy. Theres also a few others selling components and single speeds. Lots of stalls selling 2nd hand power tools also surrounded by grimy Eastern European tradesmen. This was sunday morning.

    Hey guys,

Looking at getting a charge push in large size (63cm).

    http://www.chargebikes.com/products/bikes/detail.php?id=17

Would this suit me? I'm a leggy 6ft1 but 63cm sounds very big. Is the measurement from the centre point of the bottom bracket or the underside? I recently rode a friends racer which was 58cm and it felt a bit cramped.

Edit: according to above inside leg measurement method I should be after a 61.2cm frame. Will 63 be too big? Never owned a road bike before so some oppinions would be appreciated as to how it may affect handling/balance etc.

The 'find cunt who stole my bike app' . Links seamlessly with GPS chip and self charging module in the bottom bracket that is perpetually charged by riding your stolen bike to the local chicken cottage. Use your smart phone to stalk, track down or just observe the utter cunt who stole your bike then have your way with them before retrieving what's rightfully yours.

What defines a lo pro? Just the seat tube rising higher than the head tube? Seen quite a few guys around with the whole smaller front wheel deal going on. Apart from looking different does it serve any purpose as a road bike?

    Ah, the little scally wags.

Local bobby I reported my stolen bike to popped back round on thursday night which I appreciated.

He saw the CCTV footage of my bike being stolen from my doorstep but due to lack of quality to confirm identity of suspect it's effectively useless. He did say however he possibly knows their identity anyway and they are known locally for it. Problem is more renound they are, less likely they are to hold on to it and get caught.

I went to both New Covent Garden and Brick Lane markets today in search of my bike. Got chatting to stall holders at both who kept their good stock in the van, not on show. He had an almost identicle GT to mine but was size down and couple years older. It's worth asking these guys if they have a bike that matches your bikes, as in 'got any with disc brakes'. Something specific enough to narrow it to yours but not enough to for them to cotton on you're searching for your stolen bike. If they do they won't be very helpful.
