It’s the hope that kills you…

We’ve never actually been that far adrift and had bizarrely won more games than those above us (admittedly other teams have got plenty of games in hand) but picking up points makes a huge difference to morale.

Could do with chipping away at the goal difference as it’s horrific, but you can see huge differences in the players’ movement and decision making after going a goal ahead rather than behind.

The Premier League’s a ruthless environment…hoping we can kick on from this, it’s Palace (h) up next in the league and a genuine chance of chalking up three wins in a row with players coming back from injury too, and others playing themselves into form.

I think only Brentford in the last 10 years haven’t pushed the FFP regulations to the limit (or had complete disregard for it).

We’ve had more than a helping hand from parachute payments, but we’ve not been close to breaching FFP at Carrow Road as a ‘self-funding’ club.

Delia and Michael certainly haven’t put their hands in their pockets for years…

This place was on ‘Britain’s Most Expensive Houses’, which was both hilarious and terrifying in equal measures.

    Norwich look so poor

Missing ten players that would be in and around the first team now that Kabak got injured during the game, but we looked awful tonight. Just need to find a top-flight standard centre back, holding midfielder and striker in the transfer window. Lol.

Managed to fill in the gaps so now have a full set of Norwich City home shirts from 1989/90 up to and including this season (twenty four in total) and hoping to eventually pick up the six before that to complete all the standard versions that were released with sponsors.

I'm convinced the currently ludicrous price of retro football shirts is purely down to those that were teenagers in the 90s are now sat in jobs that give them a decent chunk of disposable income. There's surely no way they'll hold the prices in future.

Tempted to start to prune/tidy up some of my Nintendo stuff now, but again there's another market that's incredibly expensive for what it actually is!

We subscribe to ‘calm’ which plays nicely with the Sonos speakers in the house too - loads of spoken content and various noises.

Usually it’s £28.99 for the year which I reckon we’d happily pay (less keen on the £299 for lifetime membership!), but there’s a 40% off code/link which makes it £17.39.

    Would recommend it.

iPod nano would tick the box too, 5th generation (2009) onwards had an FM radio option although they're only 16GB storage.

The Sandisk Sansa Clip's aren't quite as slick, but are 32GB and do have FM radio too. I had an older more basic model of those for a while that had a MicroSD slot - if I knew where it was I'd happily send on for nothing but will need to go through some boxes to stand a chance!

Anyone after bone conduction headphones? Aftershokz are currently promoting a Buy One Get One Free…it’s a bit of a ‘fiddle’ in that you buy a pair of their Aeropex sets for £149.95 and get a random colour of their Air sets for free (supposedly worth £99.95) which I assume means they’re being phased out - but a freebie’s a freebie and might be of use to someone…?

Sounds like Lampard’s lined up for the post at Carrow Road, although not expecting any news to be announced today.

Quite excited to be honest. Proper high-profile appointment for a change, and have a feeling we’ll see Cantwell back in the team alongside a recalled Gilmour - will it be enough? Who knows and probably not, but there’ll be a buzz about the place.

I’m sure Knutsen will still enjoy lifting that Eliteserien trophy for Bodo/Glimt having seemingly played hardball…

Sad to see Farke go, but his record in the Premier League is simply awful (P49 W6 D8 L35 F31 A101) and he’s seemingly abandoned our identity this season to try and solve it. By all accounts the decision was made in the morning which is why the board looked so glum throughout the game.

Not sure who will be on our list. I’d quite like to see Lampard but very much doubt he’d take it, and Mark Robins has done a decent job for a while now - it’s bound to be someone we’ve never heard of based on Webber’s previous appointments, and I’m sure they’re all but lined up now already.

Whoever it is, they’ve got a trio of attacking players in Tzolis, Cantwell and Gilmour who have all been frozen out or on the bench by Farke and are all talented enough to be playing regularly. I’m quite excited to see what’s next (aside from the inevitable relegation!).
