Aston Merrygold and David Norris probably the two most notable during my time there.

Wikipedia has Keith Palmer (Prodigy's Maxim Reality) as a former student, and I'm pretty confident Gizz Butt was there too.

Blimey...last 16 after that win at Burnley...I think we're on a cup run!

Bottom half is insanely tight this season.

Think you can pretty much safely call us out of it at the bottom. Just can't see how we're going to get ourselves another 26pts out of 17 games that include trips to United, Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea, Wolves, City and visits to us from Liverpool and Leicester - even if we average a point a game out of those it means we have to get 2pts a game out of the remaining 9!

Such a shame, some sensible cash spent on a few key additions over close-season and I think we'd have given ourselves a decent chance of finishing safely...

An excellent plan/project...will definitely be keeping an eye on this thread.

Did a solo LEJOG nine(!) years ago now - still up there as one of the best twelve day 'holidays' I've had. Enjoy!

I worked out in our situation it was never worth weekly/monthly tickets, only PAYG or annual. But with annual the gain was so small that it wasn't worth the outlay, especially if you had some WFH.

Similar here, based in Dartford and commuting into Charing Cross - made myself up a spreadsheet and worked out that even just one day WFH means you can start to save on the season ticket if you pick up one Off-Peak train over the rest of it.

Time-wise, we're 1hr 15min from door to desk at best or 1hr 35min if you don't catch the 'express' ones. Wouldn't want much more than that really, especially when you think a five day commute on the faster services means being out of the house for an extra twelve hours every week!

I'm fortunate that working from home is an option at least a couple of days a week and flexible hours means I can save time as well as take advantage of the Off-Peak services at £4.40 a time instead of £7.60 on contactless and save quite a bit compared to the annual option.

Could just pick up an Everdrive to load ROMs onto?

We were awful today, almost like the players were playing in a testimonial - we’ve picked up more injuries since beating City and are crying out for a centre-half or centre-midfielder to get back off the physio’s table, but no excuse for that performance.

Nothing else to add really. Concerned our heads’ll drop after that though...

We’ve got the Yale wireless too - just the basic one though. All we wanted was something visible as a deterrent, so didn’t bother with cameras etc..

Woken up...checked the BBC Football site...it really happened!

Best game I think I’ve ever seen at Carrow Road. Despite an incredibly long injury list we beat them and did it playing football with no shithousing.

So proud of the team, and so pleased for Farke. Now for Burnley and Palace away...

My thought too, but apparently it's a no.

Can she get him along to a store to see how the iPad looks and works with a keyboard cover? It sounds like an ideal fit for the use case, and sometimes it just needs someone to see it looks like a laptop to get them off the idea of 'I don't want a tablet' - they're not stupidly cheap to purchase, but they really are a lovely size and should last for years without getting clogged up.

Would suggest somewhere like John Lewis, where it doesn't feel too 'tech-y' - we just picked one up from there as they had an offer on the keyboard cover, got the 64GB iPad Air and cover for £550.

If it really is a no, how about the MacBook Air? I'm still using my mid-2012 model for design work so even that would be over the top for email and browsing!
