I can see this thread turning into a popcorn fest. Yes I should have read the thread, I was just annoyed at your tone with me for making a simple offer not that far from your asking price.
Yes I probably should have bought the one I was offered which is why I'm going to ask him what he has available at the moment. I didn't get it then because I didn't realise that it would be very useful when travelling as I realised earlier in the year in Africa, when taking my laptop wasn't a viable option, and something much smaller and lighter would have been ideal.
I buy and sell a lot of things, if someone made an offer to me for something that was simply too low for me, I'd just tell them no, not call them rude for doing so. -

To be fair, I should have read the whole thread before making an offer and I would have noticed that in your 9 post conversation with yourself, you did say that you wouldn't accept any offers. I don't know much about the prices of iPads, but I do know that when I was buying a Macbook Pro last June that I was offered the latest generation iPad at the time (3?) for £180 from an official Apple reseller, (albeit, not on the books) with my forum friend that shall remain nameless with me at the time. This is what my offer was based on with my little knowledge of iPads. I can easily afford what you were asking too, I was just simply offering a price that I'd be happy to pay, as an iPad isn't a vital piece of kit.
After being simply astounded at how "rude" your replies to me were for making an offer 16% under the asking price (you didn't even have to reply), I thought I'd post our correspondence after asking a friend that is a well respected forum member, that joined in 2008 like yourself, if it was just me being a dick, and he simply said that I should tell you to "Fuck off. Literally. And shove it."
So in the worst, most offensive way possible "get fucked!" And if I'm banned for this, then this forum really is "going to the shitter." Dick.

I have one for sale, tiny crack on rear but works perfectly and comes with case and charger. It was originally on O2 but I use my GiffGaff sim as it's on the O2 network, I haven't tried other sims with it so I don't know if it's unlocked. £80
