If you want a fixed bike, get something off the peg I.e. State Bicycle Co, not the best but you get the £300 you pay for, make sure it gets checked and assembled by a bike shop, so another £35 or £50.

As many had already said the Peugeot is not suitable for fixed conversion AND I suspect the fork is not original, which raises the question as to what happened to the original forks. Delaminated? Cracked? Bike was crashed?

Tldr: Ride the Peugeot as it is and get a fixie of whatever guise, that way you'll have 2 bikes without the guesswork.

KMC 10 speed, thank me later.

What cassette ratio? Might need an extender to make the 9 speed mech work.

Also, regular chainring might not work depending on your ratio, might be worth getting a narrow wide Raptor chainring from Superstar Components.

Same story again today, 'Just sell me a mech hanger for a Carrera @©$|¥»»%<>, you have one RIGHT?

Me: Go to Halfords if you want one immediately, we special order them and it could take up to a week to arrive. You'll also have to bring in the bike so we can be sure of an exact fit.

'Just sell me one, you re a bike shop and you should have this in stock AND there's a 3 hours queue at Halfords'

Yes, we use Wheel Manufacturing too, some of the hangers have been out of stock for weeks!

Agreed too on the shambles of not following instructions, the left and right on pedals and the tighten this way on the cranks...

Most expensive one was for an Allez with Praxis cranks!

AFAIK they are just Croix de Fer forks.

Post a photo of your bike and I'll confirm it.

Always burp the system via the lever first before trying to flush the system via the caliper...

Still not something you'll leave laying around.

    +Colm89 bring it with you.

Worked in both pawn broking (yep...) and banking, someone could use them to put you in some real hassle if they get their hands on them, electronic system or not.
