The detail of the Google earth 3D city models is also incredible, what a time to be alive etc. etc.
Google earth has this "time machine" funktion which is pretty neat, to check if indeed the street has gone.
You can scroll down in time when in aerial photo mode. We use it often at work (architect).

Why not go for a topper/integrated seatpost? Looks like there's plenty of tube left for even your legs..
Or will it cause problems with the momentum at the spot where you joined the tubes? Why did you do it that way and not replace the whole tube from lug to lug?
