    Hi all

    Any takers for the frame?

If not I will remove it and try the dreaded 'fleabay'.

    Cheers

lovely frame. what's the seatpost size?

Seat post size is 26.8mm. I have one that fits. It is a rare Birmalux (but branded 'Lambert') aluminium one that was fitted to Viscount Aerospace bikes. Trusty Viscount was created out of the ashes of the bankrupt Lambert of England bicycle manufacturer.

I could throw in the seat post for a tenner which is a BARGAIN!

    Cheers

    Hi

I have one of these frames and am experienceing trouble getting a replacement press fit BB. Could you tell me where you got yours from ??

I have a good stash of genuine NOS Viscount Aerospace bottom brackets. You can have one for £15.00.

Whats the spacing at the rear? Really interested in the frame! Approx postage cost?

    Hi

Thanks for your enquiry. Postage via Royal Mail Standard Parcels is £10.34. That is their website quote. If I send it and it actually costs less (I've had that happen before - don't reckon much to the RM website!) I would of course refund the difference via Paypal.
The spacing between the rear dropouts is 125mm - standard 1970s!

1977 Viscount Aerospace Pro frame, forks and Lambert front centre pull brake. Frame size - 23.5".
Frame resprayed metallic silver (superb job!!!!), restickered, laquered in 2011 by Hewitt Cycles. Cost £140.
    Forks rechromed.
Original Viscount headset and brake quick release. Both rechromed.
Frame is made from Phoenix Tube Co. Ltd. '1027' grade CroMo steel. Thinner walled than Reynolds 531 yet has basically the same tensile and yield strength. Lovely low temperature fillet brazing - no lugs obscuring crude tube mitring here! Forks have Vagner forged crown and Suntour drop outs. These are NOT the alloy death forks. This is one of the first Aerospace Pros that came factory fitted with CroMo forks.
1973 Shimano Dura Ace derailleur cable guide (was NOS).
    New bottom bracket bearings.
Genuine Viscount bottom bracket spindle fitted AND a spare one provided just in case. The fitted bottom bracket spindle has a JIS taper. The spare has Viscount's own ISO type taper. So, you have all tapers covered to provide plenty of crank options.
Two small dints on frame that are NOT structural. Some marks in the lacquer where wheels, front deraiileur and gear levershave been been attached (unavoidable). Needs a clamp for the seat tube.
Payment by PayPal gift, cheque or cash on collection.
£80 + postage (you choose the way you want it posted)

    Are you sellling the brakes?

The brakes are long gone. However, if you want to 'keep it in the family' I have a set of NOS Lambert centre pulls.

They come with slightly used 1970s(!) Shimano brake blocks. PLEASE NOTE - the brakes have never been mounted to a frame let alone used!

    Yours for £13.00 including P&P.

Please PM if you are interested.

PS I'm amazed the frame has not sold!!!

    Cheers
