I've been enjoying Josh Reids videos of his time on TCR this year. He's currently posted as far as CP3...
Frank is on the final parcour! Looks like he'll miss the start of the party but depending upon how Juris Skrebels (146) gets on, Frank might be in for a shot at last one in before midnight/end of the party. Go Frank!
Given the organisers are the ones limiting what can be used to cross into Bulgaria, you'd think they might tell the riders that one of their approved options is no longer viable!
Ugh, that's going to be an unpleasant surprise at 9 o clock at night with no ferry until the morning at one of the other locations
I think hippy called it above. The tracker says he's doing 30km/h and now only has ~15km left so should make it with a small buffer, though the cobblestones on Road 52 below Turnu Măgurele might slow him slightly...
It's looking quite tight for Christoph to make the ferry. 38km in 100 minutes. If he's averaging 25km/h then the 100 minutes gives him 41.6km.
Oh and streetview shows the last section to be partially cobbled just for the extra lols
I guess... though he isn't showing as DNF (yet).
What's going on with Mark Hugaerts, cap 89?
@ketsbaia If you're in London, there's a library of saddles you can try... Not tried it myself as I'm not in London anymore but remember it being mentioned somewhere on here.
