I haven't ridden flats in about 20 years but a new family cargo bike means I need to share a bike with my wife. Flat's are fine for the 2km into the town centre but when I'm going further I miss the clipless efficiency and find my shoes slipping around on the current pedals.

I'm having trouble sourcing a Time pedal that is one side clipless (my requirement), one side flat and made out of plastic (my wife's requirements). I bought some double shot 1 pedals and am hoping to not have to convert my own 3 bikes over to crank brothers as well. Or need another pair of cycling shoes.

Yeah my bad, I was too keen to see what I wanted to hear. @cgg Thank you both, I guess I'm just going to have to try it!

Sorry for the dredge but does anyone have experience/know if you can interchange atac and crank brother recessed cleats? I've UTFS but nothing useful came up. I've been running atacs for years but just bought some doubleshot 1 pedals for a bike both my wife and I ride. I'm not convinced the atac cleats will fit but wondering if I could fit the crank brother cleats and use them on my other bikes... Don't really want a specific pair of shoes for the one bike. Thanks!

Edit: Didn't trawl enough through the search results, seems like crank brother cleats will work in atac pedals. @NurseHolliday any chance you could confirm if it worked out for you?

The bike packing thread has plenty of info on bags...

A bit late I know but for anyone else, the Vias Verdes is a useful resource:

There's a section from the coast north of Barcelona that leads into the Pyrenees via Girona. I've done it in reverse along with the section going West from Irun and both were great.

@GoatandTricycle has almost made it to CP3 having completed the required parcours. Go Ross!

@BrickMan Thanks both. I'm based in Ireland so sadly laka is out but I'll give my house insurance company a call and see what the damage will be.

e-bullitt owners/sellers, is there a walk assist option on the newer models? I'm thinking of splurging but have a narrow winding mildly-uphill path to my house and wondering if it's going to be a mare the first/last 25 meters of every trip.

Also, those of you who insure their cargo bikes, did you add under your existing house insurance or get specific bike insurance? Thanks :)

Can't help but feel like the inquest deserves it's own thread????

Also, has anyone outside of the UK recieved their copy of the tcr newspaper yet?
