I know everyone will already have recommended this, because who isn't a massive Made in Chelsea fan, but I really like Lucy Watson's Feed Me Vegan cookbook.

To be honest I had no clue who she was but a foaf sent me a vegan brownie recipe and it was amazing. I bought it on the strength of that recipe alone and was not disappointed. I've made loads from it and enjoyed them all, which is rare for a cookbook. The only down side is that some of the recipes use vegan cheese, which is something I'm not in the least bit keen on.

I was bought a little vegan amaretto chocolate cake from Konditor and Cook yesterday. I'm not that into cakes but it was amazing!!

    Vegan chocolate.

Can anyone explain how some chocolate gets the Vegan symbol then says Warning: may contain nuts and milk etc.?

I appreciate that they are produced in a factory where there may be trace elements and it's on the label for those who have allergies so they can avoid,BUT, how can it be vegan if there is that chance there will be milk in it?

Merry Pancake Day for yesterday. Made these vegan ones - basically oat based https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2018/feb/13/pancake-recipes-crepes-six-best
A lot like the fluffy American pancake variety but amazingly filling. Eating two was a bit like eating a bowl of porridge. I'd recommend (although to be honest you only need half the amount in the recipe for two people).

Oh and I managed to get to the Temple of Camden after a long ,long wait (couldn't be arsed goign to Hackney). It was so good that I missed the first 10 mins of Chubby Thunderous Bad Kush Masters in order to walk down from the Underground to get some food.

I think it depends in part on what down you use. Eider down is (I've been told by a sign at Barnes WWT) is the baby Eider duck moultings as they fledge (or maybe shed winter feathers). So if it's Eider down then it's picking up duck left overs. Is that exploitation? Does it deprive other ducks of material for their nests? Haven't a trucking clue. But when I read the sign I was slightly surprised as I'd always assumed it was left over dead ducks.

Edit - this might be shite and the sign was a lie.
