Pelago commuter, Wald 1392 basket and Restrap medium wald bag. Great setup, my favourite commuter setup so far. Going to use the same setup with 2 small panniers and a frame bag later in the year for touring.

Can’t remember the exact stops as planned so long ago, Mrs TM wanted to go see the tulips for her 30th so we’re heading north from Rotterdam towards Alkmaar staying inland (she found a rough route recommended for seeing tulips) from there to Enkhuizen (one of my favourite towns in the world) and across the dijk to Lelystad, looping back round to Rotterdam via delft. Think we’re doing 8 days cycling average 40-50 miles a day. Hoping for good weather.

Spent most of my day off getting the tandem ready for a little tour of The Netherlands in a couple of weeks.

I reckon dynamo on Brompton is a good idea, and this reason is a part of it. Like the toolkit and the pump, means you can pick up the Brompton knowing that everything you need is there without having to collate bits and pieces from other bags .

Ive got SON but with the SP setup the weight difference from reflector only is something like 250g, so barely worth thinking about.

You’ll want to upgrade the front lamp as the standard one is very disappointing.

Carradice bag you need the appropriate luggage frame to fit in the bag, then it clips onto the block same as an official Brompton bag.

Wheels and various other bits changed on the Donobro. Not really ridden fixed much over the last couple of years but been commuting fixed this week and it’s rekindled my love for it. Going from my Kepler the donobro is a nice change.

Now Rapha is the chopper clobber of choice, is Assos due a discreet comeback?

I mean in future terms of seats, MPs being part of parliament etc... not the obvious.

It’s funny though isn’t it, the amount of air time this kind of view gets, is it proportionate to a meaningful amount of votes? Do you really think a majority of UK voters want us to leave without a deal? We might be hearing it on the news, but UKIP will never get the support it needs to make an impact on government. (Famous last words)

    Yes.
    No.
Upgrade brake levers (not shifters) and grips, replace other stuff as it goes.
