Sptrs is pretty, mine is boring, yours is rad.
WoW all the LuFGuSS SS17 trends! Looks ace. Cheers for the advice.
& @edscoble Perfect thanks for the help. I want it to work as well as possible so will procure an m786 and whatever dynasys shifter I decide on after looking at them. Exciting times, but yeah so much contradictory info online about them dealing with 11-42 so good to hear it from someone who has actually tried it rather than just regurgitated something they read elsewhere.
Is it that you don't need a dog link or whatever they're called because the direct mount design spaces the mech out when mounted to a hanger?
Yes but what does it mean I need a new 10 speed shifter despite having a perfectly good 10 speed slx shifter already. (Non dynasia AFAIA)
If so, which do I go for...
Hallelujah. Will get one ordered.
Is it "dynasys"?
WTF is "dynasys"?
I am so glad my persistent begging has paid off, really happy to see the progress. We've all finished grieving for the frame now and I for one am excited to see how it works out. This could be @Polka_Dot aero helmet level of win (with less science and more bondo)
Which derailleur is it? I'm stalled on converting my MTB , has an older SLX 10 speed rear mech, I've got the 11-42 and a Nw chainring, just trying to work out the derailleur I can use that will work without issues (clutch would be nice)
