The problem was the damage done to crank & power meter, not the frame from what I gathered

Zeeman says he lost it when the UCI official insisted on disassembling the bracket of Roglic' bike himself and consequently damaged it at the inspection
I think I can understand his feelings.

What a day for Jumbo Visma. DS Merijn Zeeman apparently has been using foul language and intimidated a UCI official at the bike checks on Wednesday, was fined 2000CHF and expelled from the TdF. Wow. And even the great WVA needs a car tow now and then to get back to his fellow climbers and GC contenders.
