Goldtech? They have swappable axles too and are pretty bombproof

What is it that makes you feel uncomfortable when youre riding it?
Does the bike feel too big when you stand over it? Do you feel too stretched out? Maybe the saddle is set too high and your saddle to bar drop is too big?
Start by trying to get to the bottom of that question and that might help you understand what you need to change.

Ran mine full length cos it made the most sense to me but I doubt it would make much difference.

Why are the cables wrapped in what looks like a discarded plastic bag?

Ahh, those were the sort of stats I was trying to find. That really is a huge difference! I guess in that case it really comes down to durability vs breathability.

Seems that C-change is good enough for the pro teams https://blog.katusha-sports.com/homepage/you-asked-us but again I have no first hand experience of it.

Are you looking for something packable that would fit in a jersey pocket? If not, PasNormal do a schoeller c-change jacket thats cut a little less "race fit". I can't comment on the waterproof qualities of schoeller vs goretex but it might fit the bill.

UNO from Asia is definitely cheaper, just throwing another cheapish weight weenie option on the pile.
