  So far I've only tried the thumbies — had to buy longer bolts as the ones provided only went in a few threads with shimano downtube shifters + adapters. Also there were some height issues, but they still work fine.

  IIRC it was thin lettering only on top side of the downtube.

  There’s a Cannondale road model I’ve been trying to track down which has the logo on the top of the downtube. Alu I think, really fat downtube. Came in classic dale blue.
