Thanks for this thead but none of this is do-able unless you want to watch on your own without your non-cycling wife, are not already sick, pay for special tv, already have stuff, or like anime or dnb. What I’m looking for ideally is something like ‘parks and rec’, free to watch and easy to access - the entertainment version of mashed potato

I’m in a small WhatsApp community group set up for covid support on our estate in Camberwell. I know there are a few Camberwell people in here. Today the foodbank at st Giles church is open 10-1. They need milk so if you are in the area please pick up an extra pint and take it over. Equally, if you need food, please go.

My wife had the idea that they are not mandating the advice and leaving at mere advice because the former makes them liable.

So in a managed s+s isa they are buying and selling shares and changing what they buy according to the market? I was - perhaps stupidly- assuming you bought into to a package of investments in shares that remained fixed. It is good to know, even if it has tanked recently there is someone busy trying to steer the ship through the icebox. I wish I had bought gold in 2012 when I first heard max kaiser recommend it.

Thanks, so they all mutate and it is reasonable to expect this to? But what you are saying is it might mutate and become less serious (although how less serious?!); or die off before it has a chance to; or die off because it mutates to become more serious and kills off enough of its hosts to become manageable? And I gues my next questions are about immunity; can it be the case that some vaccines and some naturally occurring immunities are broad and beat the virus at mutating? Edit I just deleted most of this post because it was a brain-fart and I don’t want to be misinterpreted and add to anyone’s anxiety. Apart from my mouse friend’s anxiety, he should be afraid.

@skydancer No, but I might start selling all the black rice that seems to be growing, fully formed and processed, under the kitchen cabinets when things get desperate, urgh wretch!

I am not at all wealthy but I have a stocks and shares isa, I rang up on Tuesday, a long time ago now, and they said 6 months growth gone in the last week. I should imagine that has doubled now but I think I’m going to leave it. I have a longish term outlook, or at least I am prepared to go long, and the account is 10 years old. It’s done ok so far. Any opinions? I also am gambling 20£ on trading 212, mostly out of curiosity. You look at shares that have tumbled and think, good time to buy, but some of the stocks that are old show you how low things can go. Unilever being an interesting case in point
