I couldn't really call myself savvy either, and you're right there's not much point doing this test as it won't tell you about failing ram.
If you have a motherboard speaker, the beeps may be able to indicate something regarding your ram tho? However, there may only be a code for completely not detecting any working ram (which isn't the case for you if it's managing slowly to boot)
Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool is the thing for checking your ram. Think I used it ages ago trying to find a problem with my PC, but it turned out ram wasn't the problem. Might be worth a look

Could be. Have you tried what @Sumo said - basic boot, no RAM, GPU periphs?

I think the major difference between the different brands putting out the same card is the cooling performance. Also they offer different types of warranty.
I just built a new pc and it runs very cool (altho ambient room temp has been fairly cold recently) and fairly quiet. The only thing making noise is one of the case fans (I just reused my old knackered case). I also did as someone said above - bought a pretty high end processor, haven't overclocked it, and went for a slightly overkill heatsink on it (not sure if this cooler would fit in mini itx tho). Doesn't make any noise at all and stays very cool.
Aorus pro WiFi board (onboard WiFi adapter seems extremely good, ethernet havent tested much)
i9 9900k
Dark rock pro 4 cooler
Gigabyte 3070 "gaming oc"
2x8gb of ram running at 3200 (can be clocked faster on this mobo)
An EVGA 750w PSU which is quiet enough for me altho I have got a better PSU lying around which I might put in for even less noise.
1tb Samsung SSD is all the storage for now.Whole thing cost around £1300 altho I got extremely lucky finding a GPU. If you can fit this into a smaller case I'd highly recommend

Especially what is with people (mainly van drivers it seems) driving full speed at you down narrow residential streets as if youre not there, maybe even just straight up accelerating towards you. What happens if they hit you with their wing mirror - will they stop or not? Who knows... fucking cunts. When I'm driving and I see a cyclist coming the other way I slow the fuck down and move as far over to the left as I can. Its a natural response I have (I don't want to break someone's bones!). Have fantasies of buying one of those little emergency hammers you find in buses just so I can hold it out and smash people's windscreens when they do this. Best I don't go through with it...
Man, reading Twitter comments makes the world seem genuinely insane. Glad I don't look at the site much. What the fuck are these people on about and what is it that they want from life exactly?
