I've been in a couple of times...prefer the Crown and Anchor.
Some good beers but feel they are a £ or 2 too expensive. The room is just a square box that has been plastered and they either kept some of the old pub chairs or bought some at auction
Meh. Bar ataff seem nice. Something about it feels like they ran out of money 3/4s of the way through the refurb

LS:DNR = the old GA was better

Chas Bikes have always been really good to me, next to the Imperial War Museum

On another note - I got a PCN for parking on a red route on Clapham High Street. The sign has no stopping 7am to 7pm except loading for 20 minutes between 10am and 7pm.

I was in and out of boots in less that 3 minutes as buying calpol for the small person so is this something I can contest or just suck it up and pay?

EDIT - just UTFS for TFL red routes and turns out there is some small print:

    What you should do

Use a loading bay to collect pre-ordered goods or unload goods that require a vehicle to transport them (eg an item of furniture such as a chest of drawers)

    What you shouldn't do

Stop in the bay without loading or unloading - the bay is not for waiting or parking
Use the bay outside of the hours shown on the sign or for longer than permitted
Use the bay to park or go shopping
Use the bay to pick up and drop off passengers
Remain in the bay when you have finished loading or unloading goods
Move goods that do not require the use of a vehicle to transport (eg taking a suit to the dry cleaners or collecting a prescription)

I could possibly be up for selling my Mercian Vincitore pathracer. Still on the fence but if there is a mercian aficionado who is keen and can offer a loving home PM me. 58cm frame, track drops, beautiful lug work....complete bike except the saddle that @Skülly stamped many moons ago

Had a meeting out near Warminster which meant and early start but finishes around 2pm. I took the scenic route back home which included some bye ways off Salisbury plain, Stockbidge, Winchester and finally back to London village
    Recommend B390, A360, A30 and even A31
Best of all, work were paying me to ride my bike.
