We went through a very similar thought process but ended up in Chester. Idea was Wales and th hills there. Unfortunately we're not allowed over the border at the moment so meh

We're both in jobs originally in London but both told we could work flexibly so we packed our bags, grabbed the kids and headed out.

Trying to figure out the best spot for the vice is. I'm right handed and it has a swivel base.

Two spots are the left hand corner or 4/5ths of the way along to the right. I'm probably just overthinking things but a man needs a hobby. The corner would give me more options on where to stand but just have the feeling it would also be in the way more.

Is there anything to consider or a general rule I'm not aware of?

Cheers Fox useful info. The guy from Howdens came to measure up today and he used to work for Wren so you can guess which way he was leaning. Interestingly he said Howdens don't work on commission.

Flipping heck, what's happening on South London at the moment?! Vauxhall, Stockwell, Brixton and Streatham seem to be having more bikes knocked than normal

We're looking at getting out kitchen re done. Definitely not going down the laminate/granite/wood wormhole but more interested if anyone has had good or bad experiences with Howdens Vs Wren. I think with Wren more about getting a decent fitter so this is a price and quality aimed question.

I've pushed the button on a Cube Editor with mudguards and changed bog standard tyres to gravel ones. Should be arriving in the next day or 2. It's similar to Cube Traveller without the Dyno lights and kick stand

Basically I wanted something that could be a dad wagon, handle a commute, deal with roads as well as some light off roads and tracks. Impossible to find something that will do all those well but looks like this will be above average in most areas.
It's belt drive with Alfine hub so 11 gears

Not that dissimilar to the Shard on previous page but at least I'd heard of cube

I finally got round to ordering one of the flexispot standing desks today. Annoyingly the glass one I liked is totally out of stock but not a huge change going for the EQ4. If anyone wants a referral code then mine is here....

Looks like we recently both got the same fridge freezer. The handles and doors should come off to make easier movement
