I’ve always used tyre width +10mm min. rule of thumb for decent coverage. 2.35” = 60mm so if I had choose I’d go for the 74. Not sure if there are many 70mm options out there tbh.

Gotta give the deathgrips a good whack onto the bars when installing. They use a tapered core (ironically for added hold) - sounds like you might not have them all the way on the bars

If you want to run a front rack then a carbon fork isn’t the best option
