Actually, looking at the lurker list, **Amsterdamize **is reading this at the moment.
Hello Sir / Madame, can I ask you what you think of the donation to a UK charity working in Africa? Do you think people would be willing to contribute money towards their work, even if its a non governmental organisation not based in the Netherlands?
Yes, I do. I know plenty of people who've done that, including myself (donated to Canadian and Danish organisations before). There are no boundries, it's all about the cause and showing the results.

"All that remains is for these bamboo freaks to band together and take to the streets, like those Tweed Run weirdos in London."
"..."Tweed Run weirdos in London"...they're english...pretty self explanatory..."
I think this may just be a clash of different cultures of snobbery. ;)
coming from bikesnobnyc, I'd take that as a compliment. The man's desperate in an ugly lycra-infested world. Philosophically he's the man sitting in that hole in the ground, looking at a tree's shadow, wondering whether it's reality or not. :)

I gave Marc, the blogger there, a heads up about the TweedRide, and he'll be doing a piece on it soon.

That's lovely Adrienne and she apologized and explained for not wearing 'the real deal'...:)
At least they had fun in a similar fashion, gotta keep an open mind to diversity, not?
