My problems with BC, and I am not a member , are with their performance as a governing body for cycle sport in the UK. Too much time and resources are spent on the Olympic cycle, not enough is spent on supporting clubs, regions, and the less medal worthy disciplines.
Having Shell as a sponsor for BC is not a natural or even a good fit , but I struggle with some of the objections being made to the deal.
We all rely on the petro chemical industry and it's products . We will continue to so for some time to come: to believe otherwise is naive.
Some very high horses are being ridden. Perhaps it's time to climb off them.

Depending on the club's rules then any decision about leaving BC needs at the minimum to be taken by the club's management committee. A decision of such significance ought to be made by
members at either the AGM or an EGM.
