Back in the UK for a bit and clearing out a couple of bits from my old commuter.
Currently in Devon between Tiverton and Exeter for collection.
However, may be able to bring them to London in the next 2weeks. But priority given to those that can collect in Devon.
No postage at this stage I am afraid.
Schmidt on Mavic MA3.
Braking surface very good (can photo with ruler if wanted).
36h. Stainless spokes.
Spins fine and true. Still works great with dynamo
With 32c Gravel King in decent condition with a few small nicks as the smooth GKs get.
Sturmey S3X on Mavic Open Pro.
This is a 3speed fixed hub, but is set up with a White Industries 16T freewheel. This gives you a much nicer and smoother freewheel and than Sturmey's usually have and the 16T gives you a decent range.
Come with all the Sturmey gubbins and 3speed Thumbie shifter.
WI freewheel in decent condition, but you can see the teeth are showing some signs of wear. Should last a good while and you can replace the teeth section separately.
Rim braking surface very good - just the anodising has worn.
Runs pretty true.
Again, comes with a 32c Gravel King in decent condition with a few small nicks as the smooth GKs get.
£120 - considering it comes with the WI freewheel + tyre
(or £175 with the Schmidt as a pair).
Shimano Dura Ace First Generation Chainset
So I am pretty sure this is a double that at some point has been expertly machined to be a single chainring (its hard to see and machining marks), as Shimano DA track cranks from this era looked pretty different (see 10 series) Someone might say I am wrong.
Its in really good condition, some pedal washer rub, but the tapers and threads are both excellent.
The shiny bit on the black on the non DS arm in the pick is just the light.
Comes with a really decent Stronglight Comp 48T chainring3/32" and a Shimano 68X107BB I used to get a pretty good chain-line which is in decent nick and still nice and smooth.
Pretty rare these days.
£75 - dibbed by @coot
Surly Nice Black Rack with Black Wald 137 basket and bungee mesh
Some light corrosion on the rack in places and the front light bracket has bolt snapped off in it that someone a bit skilled might be able to drill out.
The Wald is connected using small hose clips, so its really sturdy.
This is a super solid rack and works great in combo with the basket, taking up to about 32kg.
