I've just spent the weekend in Norwich, which as it turns out is some kind of vegan utopia.
Yeah same bike, he was in my hotel in Meteora last year- just swapped the tyres and chainset over in the lobby and then was off on his way
+1 absolutely the best socks going
Chris' tracker was broken, but he was always on the move. Had a couple of issues leading to some shorter than planned days but I spoke to him yesterday and spirits are good
It was TCRno4 that he did the daily videos
Bjorn has scratched
I'd guess that he misinterpreted the rules about the parcours and had planned his route to take the more northern path, rather than a missed turn leading him there. If it was an accident he would have noticed he was off-course and turned around
Cap 143 deviated from the parcours and took a flatter route to the north, gaining a significant advantage. I don't believe it was accidental so it will be interesting to see how he is penalised
I got tattooed by Teide last week and I was pretty surprised how quick/brutal he was!
