Finished spraying the wheels, not perfect but really pleased for £40. Bit darker than I would have liked

The original paint on the wheels as bubbling in places so I rubbed it down which exposed bare metal. Local paint shop advised on the etch primer before top coat.
Its bonded perfectly now where I've fully removed the paint. It was fine on the front wheel so don't understand why it did it on the rear wheel. -
Thanks. I’ve done what I should have done at the start. Got my ROS out and got it back to bare metal.

just tried again and inside the house with just the etch primer and no top coat, similar reaction.
I might try a coarser wet and dry paper to help it key

Not sure if this is the correct place but I’ve removed the wheels from my vfr to spray. I rubbed them down which exposed a few bits of bare alloy.
Cleaned with panel wipe, etch primed and then sprayed with my hvlp.
All looked good till it dried and then parts of the paint went strange, like a raised spiders web. Rubbed it back down and the same happened?
The garage was quite cold but kept the paint and wheels in the house till I painted.Anyone know what might be causing it? I’ve attached photo s

I’ve a couple of these left if anyone wants one?
I sanded mine with ROS using 150 and then applied. Previous product I used was liberon finishing oil which I was applying twice a year.
This as been on two years and still fine
