The original paint on the wheels as bubbling in places so I rubbed it down which exposed bare metal. Local paint shop advised on the etch primer before top coat.
Its bonded perfectly now where I've fully removed the paint. It was fine on the front wheel so don't understand why it did it on the rear wheel. -

Not sure if this is the correct place but I’ve removed the wheels from my vfr to spray. I rubbed them down which exposed a few bits of bare alloy.
Cleaned with panel wipe, etch primed and then sprayed with my hvlp.
All looked good till it dried and then parts of the paint went strange, like a raised spiders web. Rubbed it back down and the same happened?
The garage was quite cold but kept the paint and wheels in the house till I painted.Anyone know what might be causing it? I’ve attached photo s

I sanded mine with ROS using 150 and then applied. Previous product I used was liberon finishing oil which I was applying twice a year.
This as been on two years and still fine
