We are gearing up for a bunch of initiatives to educate staff during BHM. However there is a growing concern around the lack of opportunities, restricted social mobility and further exclusion for black people in the UK during this pandemic.

It feels like the UK has gone in reverse, is this a reaction to BLM?

Jennifer Hudson in Respect, a solid performance. Oscar nomination methinks.

I am looking forward to seeing King Richard

100% this.. not just wasteful, it’s also lazy policing.

Also don’t we have enough CCTV across the capital. There must be ton of surveillance on the ground we are already paying for.

deja vu @jono84 sounds like my office in every way, i returned ahead of the crowd about three weeks ago. Today we were about 50% capacity not sure the social distancing measures will cope. Most parent workers due back next week, when school resumes.

My commute has also got much busier. But I prefer this than living alone and WFH. At least for three back-to-back days I can switch off my laptop, forget about work by the time I reach my front door 40 minutes after leaving the office. Also I have been doing major detours commuting home and just enjoy being out on my bike riding through different places between Clerkenwell and East Ham

Ha thanks, I was suppose to make panzanella this weekend but the weather has been so meh, that I went and bought pork belly to cheer myself up, still have leftovers.

There is a secret ingredient that goes in oxtail and butter bean stew. It has an aniseed / licorice flavour.

I’m on a mission to find this, then prepare this stew. People bang on about rice/peas, jerk chicken. But this is a well kept secret (usually family recipe) and much loved dish from the West Indies.

Any clues to this secret ingredient much appreciated xx
