Lost my father to pneumonia complications so as the first positive case in my town is confirmed its definitely triggering my anxiety badly. I live in Cheltenham and work in Bristol so the advice not to travel by public transport is concerning me but I am not sure there will be an opportunity to work from home, need to talk to managers.

Its frustrating that in France gatherings over 1000 are being banned and sporting events postponed or cancelled and yet here in my town with a confirmed case (so very likely to be others not yet detected) we are about to have 200,000 people descend on the town from all over for the country and world for the Cheltenham Gold Cup.

At first I thought this would be another false emergency like swine flu but I have just been watching it getting closer and closer, and it looks like even if you don't get it there is going to be huge disruptions to daily life for months to come.

Good thing about stoners is that they don't tend to drive very fast

The need to make money is greater than the desire to save lives. It's all in the percentage

however it is permitted to carry out the aforementioned events and competitions behind closed doors, or outdoors without the presence of the public

Looks all the races in Italy are getting canned no. For the best but gutting nonetheless. Now personally I am hoping they cancel race week here in Cheltenham

Grim news: reading that Nicholas Portal has died of a heart attack. Just 40 years old.

Velo Orange? I tried fitting some and after a while I realised I was wasting my time. I think you would need to take a trip to the LBS or look for a matching bolt. Basically those mudguards are designed for bikes with a rim brake.

As ever with Nitto there are many variants, the beauty of them. I think these are the only blunt-nosed ones, and they have the least sweep. But they are an ideal sweep for me. Others have more sweep and there is one with a flat stem iirc.

Yeah chopped them down by several years inches this bike needs to be able to filter.

I got them from Planet X, the filet-brazed version. I paid £50 for them but they have gone up since it seems. They are the B906.
