    Six years ago I had a Fillmore repainted by armortex and re built by lunar cycles, including new wheels. You can see it here;

    Fast forward a lot of miles and a few years and the Fillmore sits in a garage in a bit of state. If any one is interested I can take some photos. Full disclosure; the seatpost seems to be well and truly stuck in the frame. The rims have seen a lot of winter commuting, I'm sure the hubs I've taken off the brakes and given them away. Maybe some or all of it is of use to someone?. PM if so.

    To be absolutely clear: it is not in the same state now as pictured. I'll dig it out and send photos if any one is interested.

    Good working order retro mountain bike wanted.

    I'm looking for second bike for shop trips and following my daughter (who's just learned to pedal) around the park. Thinking good quality 90s/2000s frames like the ones I used to drool over in MBUK magazine back in the day; Orange P7, Klein, Kona etc. Idealy something someone's converted to single speed, but not essential. I'm 6 foot. Happy to collect.

    Was it me or was the whole thing actually really well organsied? From the start to the drinks stations and everything else.

    Pleased with 6.09, especially as I punctured inside the first 10 minutes right in the middle of the Lime house tunnel. A horrible place to be scrabbling around with levers and a minipump.

    Highlight was putting in a massive sprint effort on the Mall for hell of it. That and the general smug feeling of completing a century on a single speed. Clocking + 41mph was a little unexpected too.

    The drop outs did not require replacement, the frame was in good shape. The paint job came up really well, though they did do it twice as the first time it came back 'aubergine'.

    I can't take credit for the build as Lunar did an amazing job on it. As for the decals I read everywhere that vinyl stickers would not bond to a powder coat. With a bit of care they go on fine - I can't vouch for how long they will stay fresh but 6 months in and they are fine. Easily replaced in anycase.

    This was a 4 or so year old OTP LeMond Fillmore that I had ridden into the ground. Painted by Armourtex, and put together by Lunar Cycles. Repro decals from a guy in France on Ebay who makes them to order. Open Pros, and a Sturmey Archer crank set.
