but hes the only one who does beast those twisted operators....long may it continue.
comment before last about the postmodern representation very astute.
last word should go to Tynan
    "brakeless- yeah bway!"

don't get me wrong, I'm all for monstering pols but sometimes humphreys' style startes to grate. my wife told me he is going to be replaced with Alan Titchmarsh though, not sure if she was taking the piss or not...

And it has to said they failed to mention how one can bring a fixed bike to a halt without brakes.

pretty sure either the reporter or the american bloke interviewed mentioned something about using your legs to stop?

anyway, made a nice change from listening to John Humphreys trying to monster some politician.

good point a|s. Smaller boards are so much more fun to jib about on. I'm 5,10 and ride a 157, thinking of going to a 154 next season!

yeah but big boards are better for landing stuff! 5'10" too and have ridden everything from 149s to 163s. 157 is the best allround though.

another positive opinion on gnu/mervin boards from me, good fun sticks.

I have a 50mm stem on mine (the 54, but I'm only 5'10"), a little bit twitchy at that length to be honest when you are on the tops but great further forward on the bullhorns. Thinking about going back to a longer stem and bars with less reach.

I love mine too, but the headset is fucked and somehow I've bent one of the dropouts. still love it though.

    now, which headset...

hi all, have made a couple of posts on the board but figured I should say a proper hello here. Been riding fixed for about a year, loving it, especially this morning when I raced a geared colleague into work, and won.

another vote for custom footbeds. I have high arches and these really help (plus not overtightening the shoes). mine are conformables, they normally live in my snowboard boots but they work great in bike shoes too.
