That is seeming like the sensible choice. Gives me more time to save up providing it doesn't go more wrong until then.

Our inherited Mondeo estate has just had a service to the tune of £400 and have been told need a new clutch for around £700. It's 12 years old and has done around 150k.

My wife uses it for work about 300 miles a week.

Fix or use an excuse to get the Mini Clubman I've been hankering after?

Hello hive mind. Is it always a good idea to do a loft extension if possible?

We have an end of Terrace on an estate in Crystal Palace. Would be good to have more space for if we have kids soon or to add value for when we eventually sell. With Brexit looming though might it be a bad plan?

My plan was to try and get the money to do it by remortgaging .

Hopefully it's gone up a good bit with the work we've done since we moved in in 2015; new bathroom, kitchen, plumbing and electrics, engineered wood floors and new carpet, mostly painted and decorated, garden tidied up etc.

First step is getting a new valuation or speaking to mortgage advisor?

Me too. I’ve usually dismissed all that black metal corpse paint stuff. Can't deal with the screaming. But the more ambient/instrumental stuff is awesome.

He said it literally just as the lights changed and he zoomed off. My polite demeanour left me by then. Genuinely shocked. I've been threatened and sworn at plenty of times before. but that level of vile I've not experienced before. And I don't even have kids.

Camera charged and back on today.

Literally all I said was "hi there excuse me would you mind leaving a little more space when overtaking cyclists you were really close." Said in a consciously non aggro tone of voice.

I wish I'd had my camera on like.usual but I'd forgotten it after charging it up and I didn't have the presence of mind to get his number. Otherwise I would definitely report him. He was driving like a total prick all the way up to The cross roads at JAGS where I caught up to him.

Typically didn't have my camera with me today but got overtaken with about 6 inches to spare at speed by a black lexus by dulwich picture gallery this morning.

Caught up to him at the lights and I genuinely politely asked him if he wouldn't mind leaving a bit more space when overtaking cyclists. Among other things he said. "I'll run you over and laugh at your kids when you're dead"

What level of scumbag do you have to be to come out with something like that?

I really like that milguas. When is that from/why £100k?

I think the versions you get now are minging with the orange and green.

If they made them closer to that red and black one I'd be saving up. My general problem with Rolex apart from their ubiquity is the mercedes hands I think they're awful.
