  Related Question: I have been looking for a similar phone - that Orange SF looks good. I have some sort of commitment to o2 including 100mb of data a day - is that a pointlessly small amount? I mean, if I use a smart phone for push emails, browsing the internet etc but not particularly downloading/streaming would that be enough? I have no idea.... thank you.

  afraid I can't answer regarding the data - I've only had my phone for a week or so and have been mainly connecting via wireless off my unlimited home broadband, so measuring the data usage hasn't been important to me as yet....it may be worth asking on one of the dedicated forums such as http://android.modaco.com/category/453/zte-blade-blade-modaco-com/ - folk on there seem to be fairly friendly and clued up (in case you were wondering, the San Francisco is basically a re-badged ZTE Blade).
  I've gone for a giffgaff SIM (that uses the O2 network) which at the moment will allow unlimited internet via a £10 'goody-bag' top-up - seems to be the most recommended route for those wanting PAYG - if anyone is considering giffgaff, make sure that you get it via a 'recommend a friend' route - you'll get £5 credit and the recommender gets credit as well (be aware that you will need to do a top-up as well to activate the SIM). Happy to send an affiliate link to anyone that wants £5 credit on their account..... :-)

  have you considered the Orange San Francisco? - currently selling for £99.99 (inc compulsory £10 top-up) at Argos (may be able to get it even cheaper (£79ish) if you know someone with an orange payg sim).
