Difficult, as equipment is quite personal and practical

Maybe a book? A Sting in the Tale by Dave Goulson is good, more as general reading than beekeeping specific. Or Beekeeping at Buckfast Abbey, by Brother Adam. That’s a brilliant one. Or on something tangential like mead making or candle making, to make better use of the hive by-products.

I’ve only got two (Roon) endpoints at home so far. One is the Mac mini itself in the office. I just hooked it up via the audio jack to this Topping TP22 class D amp I had kicking around and some £20 JPW mini monitors sat on the oak desktop. Really pleased with it, might look at a DAC in due course as the Mac can do optical out.

I am using Roon and Tidal on my Mac mini. I really love it, the considering life upgrade, am only a month into the first year.

I’ve listened to more new music (*that I like) than in that last few years combined! For me, that’s what it’s all about. Thanks for the recommendation!

Really nailed one of our weeknight staples today, which comes together in about 25 mins.
I put some jasmine rice on to cook, and get a pot of water on for my greens. Tonight they were broccoli from shops plus chard from the garden. They get boiled (adding leaves after chopped stalks and broccoli), drained well (squeeze a bit) and dressed in soy, oyster, sesame oil and a little raw garlic.
Then I slash skin of a couple of sea bass or bream fillets, pat dry and fry them in groundnut oil in a wok, skin side down almost to the end. When they come out and onto kitchen towel, I chuck into the very hot oil a load of chopped garlic, spring onions, ginger and chilli, which goes on top of the fish.

Shame, but it was being used as intended and will be back on the road I’m sure. I am reminded of a passenger journey in a very well sorted red one (a 130TC I mean) in the late 90s at an Italian car event in Lincolnshire. I used to hang about with my uncle a lot back then, and he was in the Italian owners clubs. I was lucky to ride in some incredible motors. Anyway this car was caged with six point harnesses and went very indeed. There was a b-road circuit around the event and he really caned it. Carbs roaring, exhaust blatting, air under all four wheels at one point. Glorious. The lust has remained with me. #csb

Looks like an ultra-rare 130TC Abarth model too. :’-/

Hi all, some advice appreciated as I saw some mixer chat upthread. Purely for home use, and we do bread and pizza here and there. We’re looking at Kenwoods and like the look of the multi one, it’s 1000W with a dough paddle. But it also processes and blends.

But if that’s not man enough, I could be persuaded by a Chef titanium 1500W. A more simple, focused machine.

    Anyone experienced either?
Will ask in pizza thread too.
