    A few observations

    • BLB is an established business, and whilst I am aware of the "they were nasty to me, burn them with fire" threads I don't think there has ever been a suggestion that it has hurt their business
    • Likewise, I would say that Rapha give not a gnat's farts worth of concern over "Rapha in expensive but nice shocker", I would suggest they might actually appreciate it
    • Foffa is, largely, an unknown- and right or wrong an unknown business is one that most people would Google. I can see where Wicksie is coming from in wishing to give Dani (who seems a reasonable chap) a decent shake of the sauce bottle after Hacked2 (whom I personally dislike, it is true) did his best to ruin the Foffa name.
    • I can see why Harry is upset here, although there is an element of fake indignation which is coming through fairly strongly- but fair enough, partisan support of your shop/team/whatever is a good thing most of the time
    • Yes Wicksie has received a frame, there is a conflict of interest if this was ever, at any point some impartial bastion of morality, but it's not, it's an Internet forum. I'd say her reasoning is well documented through this thread- and when she says that random Googlers would read through it I think she is quite correct. So, I'd say leave this thread in Darknet, give Dani a chance, but by all means be frank in the public sections of the forum.

This is not the LFGSS equivalent of Watergate.

    A voice of reason

    Well said ...............
I will not say the feeling of dislike is mutual, I do not know you personally and I do not have any bad feelings towards you.

    well, my 2p.
I think there are a number of issues here.
** at no point have i seen them asking for it to be removed (but maybe they have).**

thirdly, now it's been in darknet, and that has been mentioned it can't be let back into the wild without all those mentions being removed. That i think is the highest priority now, and while it's happened the wrong way, for the moment the thread is in the right place.

**please please please can someone remove the thread **

Ian, you really need to learn how to quote. :)

I get the shakes and lose all confidence when I try and post on the forum.

Its akin to electric shock aversion therapy

    Hi

It is not a small thing and it would be spotted instantly by any decent mechanic.

All head sets are new on our bikes including the crown race.

We rarely have frames that require 1 1/8" crown races and are less frequent than 1 in 150 builds.

it would not be the first time that a build has been wrongly claimed as one of mine.

Trust me when I say I would not let this happen, if I was based in the shop the bike would not leave unless the buyer and myself were completely happy.

I have had some real good advice from Nhatt this morning.
Thanks Nhatt taken onboard and much appreciated
................. and if it did slip through then it should not happen again.
