Nice one, thank you.
The 2.0 does seem very underpowered for a GTi. I'm not planning on modifying it at all. I need a car to commute in (200 miles every second weekend) for a year.
I have a 1.8T and a 2.0 lined up to view so I should get a decent comparison.
Volkswagen fans!
I need a run around for the next year and I've narrowed my search down to few MK4 Golf GTIs.
Is there anything in particular they suffer from or is there anything I need to look at or ask about?
My last VW was aircooled so I'm a bit out of touch with the water pumpers.
Thank you.
Strong.
Also did a wee lol.

It's actually a decent shop run by a couple of really sound guys. A lot of knowledge and no attitudes.
But exactly the place to go for that look.
There's one near me.
