North end near Rye Hotel
Sick to my stomach when the paramedic said "potentially life changing"
Just witnessed and attended to a rider knocked down by a left turning car at the North end of Peckham Rye. Potential spinal injury. Fingers crossed for you.
The haro's we have tip the scale at 10.5kg which is a reasonable weight. Weight for adult bikes is not as much of a concern as other disciplines.
I don't know but you had better leave quickly before you are caught
Difficult question. So much is based on personal preference. These days there are very few manufacturers that import complete off the peg bikes to the UK. Haro and GT being the main ones. We have both at the Burgess track and have found the components on the entry level Haros to be more durable that the GT. There are lots of frames available but unless you have the components to build into a complete bike already can become a costly option. Used is a good option for a first bike if you have a FB account try facebook.com/groups/335669933240961/
I am happy to give my 2 cents worth on anything you may consider.
