re which dynamo hub: i have a SP PD-8 on mine- they are at the pricier end of the scale. i also run a cheapo shimano on another bike that has been going strong for a few years now in all weather. Have no experience of a Sturmey Archer - if cost is an issue i'd go shimano
they sometimes get stolen just for the battery then dumped, happened to a rise and muller recently. Wheel lock on, so manhandled to a quiet street, then stripped of the battery
Peter James (not actually used them, just heard they were good)
could you Dm me too? I'm weighing up the costs of doing something similar so any info would be great
Did you get any prices?
Did you find anything? i'm after one too
I have a bit in ratesetter. I joined when there was an intro offer so got some free money. returns have been meh.
It's worth noting, none of these p2p money lending services were around in the last recession so none have been tested under those circumstances - ie how will they manage a lot of loan defaults etc.
Don't think there any difference. I taped mine as it's a bit more manageable for one person and easier to make sure everything is sealed. Plus it gives you that shiny inside spaceship feeling when it's all done.
