After a bit of illness and injury I use an ebike for 45-70 mins nearly every day. Quite hilly Sussex lanes, lots of short ups and downs. For sure I use the engine, but not as much as I could. I coast downhill. If you want to make the effort to sustain riding on the flat over the limit it is not much fun. When I finish I have had a reasonable workout. I need to charge up every other day when I am down to 2 bars on the Bosch 500 system. You do not want battery anxiety on these things. If I wanted to do a 14m commute I would definitely consider it. I have a Haibike HT with reasonable spec and it is fine for mixed terrain, pothole lanes, woods, gravel etc.

sorry not quite read the whole thread, but what beans should I order from YB? V60, Sage Single dose pro, 500ml with a small splash of milk, shared between two of us, needs to be a bit of a heart starter. Just subscribe to the beans of the month for a while and see how it goes?

i have a wahl beret. Was quite expensive. The various clippers are a bit nasty. But it works very well. I have a short beard at the moment and tidy it about twice a week. If you wanted to get almost all your stubble off it would be ok using the blade only. Not as good as a wet shave though. You can also get rid of the wolf man fluff on your neck. On a longer setting I can tidy the straggly bits around and above the ears. You can use it with or without cord, charge is quick and lasts me weeks. It means I do not have to visit the lovely Shirley so often; she has excellent tats and banter, and I look forward to both.

amazon "offers" on many things expire today. I shall be a starter user, would like to spend less time on my laptop. Thanks to reading posts here, it will be OK to get the ads version. I suppose I will download what I can for free from amazon and buy the rest. I have enough devices for everything else, this will just be for reading. But if any cross over is easy and useful I have apple things. Which Kindle to buy today? Nice lighting, bed time and travel use, reasonably future proof. thanks
