“Walvale frames were built in Liverpool by Norman Roberts and this frame dating I think from the first half of the 1980s is well built. He had an excellent reputation locally.”
This was built up for me by Hutch @retrodicorsa. It's a beautiful bike. Completely tight, super light and fast. Just a pleasure to ride.
I used it less than 10 times in the Velodrome at QEOP until injury stopped me from riding track. It's never been crashed or ridden anywhere other than on the track and been stored inside.
Size wise I’m 5’6” and it's a perfect fit.
Everything is tight as a drum and works perfectly.
Tyres have no nicks or skid patches.
Frame is in great nick with no dents.
Paint Job is the only thing that's not mint on this bike. It's a pretty garish yellow with the front fork in grey (drilled for brake). The paint has a few chips and scratches as hopefully shown in the pics.
I always intended to get the frame and forks powder coated but never got round to it and ended up quite liking the colour!
