Started working on a bike, realised i really have way too much shit and it’s very annoying to find stuff, so here we are.
First the stuff of value:
- Ritchey Evocurve 42cm drop handlebars good condition - £20
- TRP RRL SL single speed brake levers great condition, little bit of scraping on the right lever bottom, rubber hoods replaced a with fresh black ones a few months ago - £45
- Velo Orange Polished Smooth silver 45mm full mudguards to clear 35s bought new and fitted in September last year from/by Seabass, no longer needed, they’re on the bike I’m taking apart currently, all stays and hardware from that mounting included - £50
- pair of Teravail Rampart 32c light and supple tan walls barely used, bought them in mid September, setup tubeless, rode once or twice around Richmond, once out to Caterham and back, and then just a 5km commute a bunch before they spent November-January hung up on the wall -£60
- SRAM S500 right hand drop lever (and a Cane Creek dummy left hand gratis) - both in good condition, easy road fixed setup -
£5@lynx - Odyssey short brake lever connected to a Dia Compe 101 calliper - black lever, silver calliper, pink brake cable, what’s not to love - £10
- pair of Gravel King semi slick 35c tyres tan wall - plenty of tread on these they just do not wanna go up tubeless and they’ve been in the cupboard since i tried, pls get them out of my house -
£25@Dave_Ray - Deda Superzero 31.6 carbon seatpost good condition £20
FREE STUFF
On One Midge bars @lynx
Raceblade Pro XL with some added flaps @lahdelah
Omnium 48t track chainring @CasualLime
maybe some more stuff as i sort out bitsPics are coming when it’s light again tomorrow but if you’re super keen on something and want to get the deal done just ask and I’ll take a horribly yellow-lit photo of whatever it is
Collection in Herne Hill area, not particularly up for meeting unless it’s close-ish (south London)
Will post all except the mudguards for obvious reasons - Ritchey Evocurve 42cm drop handlebars good condition - £20

BIKE WAS RIDDEN AGAIN TODAY. WOOP.
In other news, the plan stated above is coming about.
I’m on a bit of a mission to streamline the Allday, make it more suited to a short 5km commute and to being locked up outside the gym, and/or a coffee shop/pub now my girlfriend has her Brompton and is wanting to ride around to do stuff.
So:
- Mudguards are going. The way I see it is that they’re just one more thing recoup if the stolen and I’m never gonna get wet enough to give a shit on a sub-15min ride to and from work. Plus I want mud clearance for fun stuff.
- Some knobbly 35c tyres are going on instead of the 32 slick Teravails. I think it would sometimes be fun to spice my tiny commute up by hitting up some parks for some fun skidz along the way.
- Flats and straps have been dug out and put on.
- Ritchey risers from the flat bar Kepler are going on. I’ve got some Tektro minimal brake levers on order
- Rear brake delete. Again for same reasons as the mudguards really, though I’ll keep it hanging around.
- Maybe some creative de-badging with electrical taping as well as TT protector to try make it look a little less shiny.
I’m hopefully not going to be in London by the end of this year, so I think it’ll be fun to return to the silly skid bike life for a last little bit before living somewhere with hills and a longer commute takes that away from me.
With all that being said, that means I’m gonna sell the TRP SL levers, the VO mudguards, the Teravail tyres, the Ritchey 42cm evocurve drops as well as the old 35c Gravelkings if anyone reading here wants first dibs or wants to make an offer

@Chaley hahah well im glad i wasn’t the only one tempted
@spinnnout thank you for the info! and yeah i reckon I’d soon make them look a lot less pretty from pushing my gravel bike up stuff so maybe a good idea not to purchase

the sensibility of full mudguards and cushty 32c slicks on my double braked fixed commuter is overkill
i yearn for doing little skidz on all available desire lines, grassy knolls, and the sandy bits in Dulwich Park
with that being said, does anyone have any 35c tubeless ready gravel tyres going for a decent price…? Fairly mud ready so no slick file treads, decent puncture protection, black or tan, or any colour really
I would also just swap the 32c Teravail Ramparts that are have less than 1000km but aren’t bringing me joy if anyone wanted to do that?
It’s got loooads of life left but currently someone else beat ya to it.
I’ll let you know if that collection falls through
