Intended use is a 55km each way commute with the tube at one end; need a very capable commuter. I considered all the options and settled on either this or a bike friday pocket rocket.
Folding is quite straightforward for public transport but only because there are no rear brake or gear cables to conplicate the 2 separable bits.
Could do a build thread. Need to get the seat tube reamed. Here it is separated

New minivelo:

-Paragon Z couplers which are so effective and hidden they put S&S couplers to shame
-Conforms to TFL and all train operator definitions of a folding bike (frame must separate / 20 inch wheels); and way more rideable than a Brompton (and lighter than a Bike Friday)
-406 wheels > 451 wheels because much broader rim and tyre choices. Gravel tyre clearances (2.2 inch) but I prefer rim brakes so sticking to 1.75 inch tyres atm.
-Yet to fit a brake

@JacqueLucque you may enjoy and propagate as you see fit. I will probably fit a 25cm stem shortly. -
