De Plus had an injury keeping him off the bike for a long time. Then first he was in the Giro selection but that is also not happening now. In every article I read about him not going to the Tour the rumours of him going to Ineos were being mentioned, so that might also have got something to do with his "slow recovery" and not being part of any of the Jumbo lineups for the GTs this year

Also, wouldnt be surprised if some of the Jumbo Visma guys do some work for Van Aert or drop a gap when he goes

Quite a big list of riders looking strong right now for whom the parcours seems doable - van aert, alaphilippe, maybe even Pedersen or some of the Sunweb riders.

For TT, Ganna is my favourite, but it is apparently not very technical, so could also be something for Van Aert or Campenaerts

    Possibly, possibly, the furlough scheme.

Got quite a few freelancer friends in the artistic sector and friends in TV/Movie sector who would beg to differ on that.

And Matty Hancock was trying to bring this up on R4 earlier when saying how essentional it is to make international comparions as we do have a large testing program we just appear to be using it inefficienctly

This makes the blood boil, few months ago they were refusing international comparisons because of this and that reason. They only want to compare when they can spin it in their favour

At the same time kwiat and schachmann left before their prime, and kwiatko had already won the worlds, strade, amstel and several podiums on day races and smaller stage races. Can't really say he became much 'better' after that IMO

Back in the day when commuting was a thing, I used to take Shakespeare Rd rather than milkwood to go between HH and Loughbourough. Good to see they are tackling Milkwood.
Didnt know about Railton, and was pleasantly surprised last week when cycling there w the girlfriend. She is normally not very confident with the bike and was loving it, so it is definitely helping people overcoming some fears around cycling/walking in London
