Thanks, I have actually found a different frame, so undibs. Sorry for the bother.
@Thrasher thanks so much! Great to meet you and such a nice project. Respect for doing some serious miles around town in rain with SSMTB + trailer!
Could I dibs this please pending some more measurements? Sending a PM now. Thanks
Thanks, I’ve PMed @Thrasher
I’ve got some old wheels and other bits that I am keen to get rid of - nothing special, 80s weinmann brakes, huret derailleurs etc off an old Peugeot. Are these of any use or am I better off just scrapping / recycling them?
Yes it’s such a good frame, very light and really nice to ride. 130mm rear wheel went in very easily - I have built quite a few old frames with new wheels and haven’t had any problems. Sometimes need to gently pull the dropouts apart to pop the wheel in - couple of mm each side is no big deal. I’ve never needed to cold set. Give a shout if you have any problems!

Thanks, it’s a really beautiful frame, always a pleasure working on a bike like this even though it’s way too big for me so I can’t even test ride it!
Just completed flat bar build of this lovely old 531 Peugeot for my sister’s BF. Frame from @Salvage and 4600 groupset from @Pasty_Spumante, managed to use a Nervar crankset from another 80s Peugeot which looks a bit nicer than the Tiagra (IMO)
