Campagnolo Record Carbon square taper chainset
53/39t 10 speed chainrings
Includes Chorus BSA BB - 102mm spindle length
I am taking steps to rectify my hoarding habit - being honest with myself, I won’t ever use them! I have one old Record groupset but two chainsets so don’t need both.
These are quite rare and look very cool. The cranks are aluminium with an outer layer of carbon fibre. I think they are from one of the last generations of Record before the switch from square taper to Ultratorque, early 2000s I believe.
They have been used so have a few very light scuffs and a more significant scratch on the inside of the DS crank caused by a dropped chain as shown in the pictures. No deep scratches into the clearcoat on the outer side of the cranks. They are still very solid and I’m sure they could be polished back up with very fine wet and dry paper. A bit of wear on the chainrings but plenty of life left in them. All threads are in good shape.
The Chorus BB spins absolutely smooth. Also includes crank bolts and plastic dust caps - they came with the cranks when I bought them and are perfectly good but not quite as nice as the shiny Campagnolo allen key bolts. These can be found online, or any other nice crank bolts would also work. I may be able to find another pair of generic allen key bolts to include.
Collection from London NW3 or can meet more central. I might consider posting within the UK but would prefer to avoid if possible.
Please let me know if any questions. Thanks for looking!
