    Hi,

Looking to sell my Eastway steel framed bike. Medium 56cm size frame suitable for heights 5'8" - 6'0"

This was purchased new in 2015 with the intention of using for cycle touring. Unfortunately I never really gelled with the bike and other than a Dunwich Dynamo and the odd fair weather ride hasn't seen a lot of miles. Not my daily bike.

Good condition other than few superficial scratches to the paintwork on top tube from bike shed scrapes.

Bike spec pasted below taken from Wiggle website. Only changes are the following...

Shimano A530 SPD Single Sided Touring Pedals (can use with cleats or normal everyday shoes)
Topeak Super Tourist DX Rear Rack Black
Tyres - replaced the Kenda tyres with Schwalbe Marathon Plus
Satori handlebar stem riser (Yes agree it looks ugly. Needed an upright riding position for dodgy shoulder. Can easily remove and return to original setup).

In April of this year I made use of a government bike repair voucher. Paid for Deluxe Service from Limehouse Bicycle Company. New chain, brake pads/cables, gear cables, bar tape. £95 spent. Estimate i've cycled less than 5 miles on the bike since serviced (spin round Victoria Park). All running very smoothly.

I have email receipts for original bike purchase and the recent service. Bike is marked and registered with BikeRegister national database.

    From Wiggle.com....

    All-Winter machine
The ST1.0 can handle the rigours of everyday riding and bike commuting as well as more varied terrain. SRAM Apex gears, cantilever brakes, strong E28 wheels and fitted mudguards complete the package so you can put in the miles without worrying about your bike. So if you are looking for that all-Winter machine, the ST1.0 is a great contender and should be considered.

    Reynolds 520 frame
The original frame material and still, some say, the best. Reynolds have been making bike tubing for over a hundred years and their 520 steel carries on those traditions to the ST1.0 frame. Complete with a comfortable riding position, wider tyres and a classic look, the ST1.0 lets you do more in style.

    SRAM Apex drivetrain
For 2014 Eastway have spec'd up the ST1.0 with the SRAM Apex 10 speed drivetrain. A 1:1 cable pull ratio allows a solid indexing making sure you are in gear when you want to be in gear. The double tap shifters give a clean tidy look but again help offer good indexing. Overall the SRAM drivetrain will offer great performance and reliability, making you get to where you need without a delay.

    Eastway Custom wheelset
The ST1.0 comes with a custom set of Eastway wheels, these are a pair of alloy double walled rims with a 28mm profile to them. These are then laced up to a set of forged alloy sealed hubs. The outcome is a light weight, smooth rolling wheelset topped of with a set of Kenda K tyres is a 32c width giving you maximum grip on the roads and tracks.

Thanks for looking. Suspect might be bit of a niche bike so trying my luck advertising here first. Priced at £350 which I hope is fair. What do you think? Constructive comments welcome.
