  Banger. Think I'd go black dial. I also love the vintage black dial Quartz and Automatic Overseas, if I was well off, 100% lock one of those in.

  Bang on with this. Worked in retail for years and never heard so many people say, 'I know my rights', and spouting turd about trading standards.

  If anything retailers did it too much as a gesture of goodwill, they've clamped down on it now.

  I personally find it more odd if the date wheel matches, I feel it's supposed to contrast so it's easily identified on the dial and has better legibility.
