Long time viewer, first time poster.
After stumbling on SPIN London in 2016, I really fancied a fixed gear project.
Being into my mountain biking, this was project SpendAsLittleMoneyAsPossible, but still have a pretty cool looking fixed gear bike.
Hope you like...

Found a pretty bog standard, but nice looking frame and fork combo from here. The guy gave me some mismatch wheels, but they done the job to get me going.
First purchase was some drop handlebars from Condor Grays Inn Road.

Chucked on a seat, and sorted some niggling issues with BB, wheel bearings and headset, then went riding.

Fancied a set of really lairy wheels.
Managed to pick up this set of Chinese deep dish. Cheap and nasty, but jesus these have taken a beaten.

Really wasn't a fan of the huge silver front ring, so picked up another cheap set from Condor.
Also, as a mountain biker, I really couldn't get on with drop handlebars. Maybe they just wasn't the correct handlebars for me, but resorted to a spare set of MTB handlebars I had hanging around.

Felt I needed the cockpit higher so grabbed some new blackfridaydeal riser horizon handlebars.
and heres how it sits today:

Hi @quickerbybike,
Just to confirm, it is a 52cm?
Just looking at a size guide, think it may be a touch too small for me.

Hi all,
Venturing across from the downhill/mountain bike world here so don't know too much of the terminology, but really fancy giving a fixie a go to and from work. I have been riding a road bike just for training recently and occasionally for commuting.
I don't particularly like the 'generic fixie' style, prefer the track bike look that has been converted for street use.
So I guess I want to see what you guys have to sell in terms of cool looking fixies.
Not too sure on budget yet, lets see what gets posted!
Cheers

Hi @quickerbybike,
If I was to come and have a look, and like the bike, do you have any other bars that you could fit for me to get home with?
Are you about this evening for me to come and check out?
Thanks,
Luke
