Thundertrack is back again. Make the most of this long summer and come do some bike racing in the sun*.
The format will be same as previous years. Races will be the Devil (elimination), Scratch, Points and Keirin (including Tony on his Derny) and a marymoor crawl if there's time.
We've got some awesome prizes and they're equal for the men and women. Both will have an A and B categories. A is for people with a racing license and between cat E - 3 (BC points are on offer), B is for people who have done race accreditation at the velodrome but don't hold a racing license or feel more suited to the B group. The B groups is perfect for people who have ridden at the velodrome but never raced and want to give it a go.
We can do a day race license for people who are British Cycling members for an extra £2.
Entry is £15 on the day (plus the day license if needed). Sign up is on the day, spectating is free and the new pavillion at Herne Hill Velodrome is very comfortable for all your viewing needs.
Sign on will start from 11:00am in the pavillion, racing to probably start at 12:30.
We'd like to thank our generous sponsors for helping make this event possible:
Bell Bike Helmets UK - Altura Technical Bikewear - Hiplok - Spin Industries - Standert Bicycles - Tifosi - Selle San Marco - AssSavers - Giro - Wahoo - Yard Sale Pizza - Dart Arts Coffee
I need a couple of volunteers to help count results on the day. If anyone can help just pm me.
Last year was great fun.
Forecast doesn't look good
I can live with the currently projected 25° and overcast.
Strange, Google is throwing up rain when I search
XCWeather says highs of 22c, sun, 0mm rain..
Anything better than today is good in my eyes
