The first batch of Isens is out the door. Christmas approaches. A cold wind blows.....
We've hired Canopy for the night. There will be many and varied beers. There will be a number of Isens for you to have a butchers at, have a fiddle, squeeze the brake levers, poke the tyres. Basically everything you can do in a bike shop but WITH BOOZE!
There will also be music, nibbles and Magic Mike (my mate, not the stripper) and we will also be raffling off an Isen frameset from the next batch in aid of a good friend of mine who had a horrible crash and now needs a new knee.
Anyone is welcome, bring a friend, or a frienemy, or your nan we really don't care! Any questions ask here.
@Mikey5000 @middleofnowhere should we relocate Norths for this evening?
Yes. I'm down. are Talbots allowed too?
You would be more than welcome!
Run what ya brung!
1 v 1 bro.
That flyer is LIT.
@coldharbour you could make the raffle tickets available to those of us who cannot attend?
Yes definitely, am just working out a way of doing it. Will update
that flyer is hilarious - well done
Work pissup vs. Bike nerd pissup hmm
Everyone at your work said they didn't like you and were slow. I'd come to ours....
The first part is almost certainly true. Most of my team have gone now so it's technically a 'mostly people I used to work with that I still like' pissup. The slow part though, fuck them all!
I'll see what happens though, it's in the diary.
BUMP - this is tonight!
Is there a just giving page or similar for buying raffle tickets?
I believe (as an unofficial Isen associate, but answering on basis that Matt's probably too busy at moment) that raffle tickets have to be analogue only due to horrible legal complications of online gambling, payments, etc. So if you're not able to make the party then you need to find someone else to get them for you in person I'm afraid.
Hoping to get over later in the evening
