Used to live out west. Bit by Greenford is a bit....grim. Cheap beer though.
Second down by Minet county park is proper nice though. So many locks. -

Cool, Wednesday it is.
I head anti-clockwise, feel free to join/depart as needed

Brillain, really looking forward to this. I'll join at Viccie Park and depart there as 46 miles off road is probably my limit anyhow!

Just to let people know, my knee is a little bit buggered, so I may only roll so far depending on how cycling affects it.
Will definitely make the start for nine though.

• #23
Sorry guys but my knee doesn't want to play...
Looks like a nice day for it too.

Looks a lovely route; the towpath out west is gnarly so those of you on 23 tyres take out a little pressure and have a repair kit!
enjoy you lucky people who can take a Weds off.

A jaunt of the Regent's, Paddington Branch, Grand Union, Thames and Limehouse Cut next Wednesday. Feel free to join in of you've got the day off.
The towpaths will still be pretty empty during daylight hours, but as it is all shared with peds in theory the pace can drop. IF you want a speed run, better come back after midnight.
I've ridden this before and it's a nice day out to see different bits of London by bike and almost entirely traffic free.
There are some bits out West which are a bit cx, so expect some muddy shoes.
